Domel dd is mostly known as a modern manufacturer of electric motors for common use and professional applications. It became a leading producer  of vacuum cleaner motors in Europe.
The supplementary range of products enables us to cover niche markets: DC motors, universal commutator motors, brushless ED DC blowers/pumps, EC centrifugal fans, EC external rotor motor, tools and components for electro-technical industry.

Nowadays more and more various electric motors are built into all sorts of vehicles. The decision we made few years ago was unanimous: with all the skills, experiance, knowledge, enthusiasm and high technological equipment we are ready to enter automobile industry market and become one of the important forward source supplier for the OEM's ( original equipment manufacturer).

The beginning, however, was not easy. We have had to face highly demading market with strict and very particular rules, market where quality and accuracy do not accept compromise.  

In June 2004 Domel was awarded with ISO/TS 16949 which together with ISO 9001:2000 specifies the quality system requirements for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of automotive related products. The aim if  ISO/TS 16949 is the development of a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

Domel has started to develop with the close cooperation to it's customers DC PM motors, BLDC motors and stepper motors for air conditioning, powertrain, chassies and safety systems. With highly skilled R&D team, quick responses, effective  quality managment and  employees awarnes and commitments to a large extent we finally  managed to fullfill our customers expectations as the Forwarded Source Supplier for development and production of electric motors for car applications.
